My Saturday morning...

I really thought waking up to this was the cutest thing ever! Beforehand though, I was the grumpiest person ever. (Keep in mind that I am NOT a morning person.) What also added onto it was my fierce headache in the morning due to my stupid TMJ...So while getting up from bed, I walked straight to my door, not expecting anything to be in front of me, then BAM, I see this huge envelope with my name on it. Without hesitation, I opened it and smiled.

It's so true, well for me at least, that whenever a child does something spontaneous for you, your heart melts.

It's been hard living at home with my fam due to do all the trials we have but looking at how innocent my nieces and nephews are, takes a little weight off of my shoulders.

God told me this, "You can't be the light in your home if there's nothing to be the light for." Meaning, I need to have a troubled home (the dark) in order for Christ to shine through me (His light).

So as this day starts, I want to encourage all of you to not take any day for granted. Enjoy the little SURPRISES that God puts into your life. Even if it may be just a valentine's day card from a little 8 yr old or 6 yr old. Enjoy it, soak it in and rememeber that without a doubt, you are ALWAYS BLESSED.
