I started Summer School today! I'm taking Photo 35 and Astronomy...I don't think experiencing the first day of school is never good for me. I know I shouldn't have worry and doubt but the thought of starting something new or being taken out of my comfort zone scares me at times. Praise God though that in the midst of feeling anxious, I heard His still voice letting me know everything was going to be OK.
My photography class is already actually fun..I've learned a couple of techniques photographers in how they take pics (unfortunately, I forgot what it was called already!). Every photographer has an eye for certain things and I enjoyed looking at them all!
My astronomy lecture wasn't one to forget. The first thing we learned about was the "big bang." It's pretty much the belief or theory that everything just appeared out of no where. We don't know how, why, but it just appeared. After my teacher spoke about it, he asked if everyone was OK with that. Some whispered and said "It started with God." Another classmate said, "Yea, I'm down with that." And hearing that made me realize and see how people are easily lured into certain theories because they don't know the truth....As class continued, my teacher was giving a time line of how and when things were produced on earth. In a span of 365 days (Jan. 1st. - Dec. 31st), everything was created. But in reality, our awesome God made the whole earth, planets, skies, and everything in it in 6 DAYS. Although I didn't agree with anything my teacher was saying, it reminded me of how great our God is and how He was the beginning of it all.. =)
Genesis 1:1-31
Just thought I'd share with you guys...Good night, everyone!
