...Well I took a Photo 35 class during Summer where I learned the history of photography, how to use your SLR or point and shoot camera and etc. -pretty much the basics of photography...I don't have the best camera but I did what I could. I really enjoyed this class and because of it, I cultivated a "hidden love for photography." I am hoping to invest in a nice camera one day but that is at the bottom of my list. I will work with what I have for now. =)
Below (and the next blog posts) are the assignments that needed to be executed (including the pics of course). You might notice that Ate Lan is in quite a few! =) She was always willing to help me out by being the subject matter for my assignments. Thank you Ate lan!
One thing I noticed about myself is that I have a thing for capturing DETAIL while using a "bird's eye view." You might notice it as well. =)

First Assignment: Short/and or shallow depth of field.
I didn't have anything in particular to shoot so I chose the most random things: my doorbell, a chain from junk yard @ SCC and a leaf.
